About
The story
behind it.
For nearly thirty years, Regina Guidry has helped people find their way back to the everyday things that make up a life.
The work
A job most people cannot name until the day they need it.
Getting dressed. Holding a cup. Walking back into a kitchen that used to be theirs. There is a name for the work of helping someone do those things again, and most people never hear it until the day they need it. Occupational therapist. Regina has been one for nearly thirty years.
She has sat with people at the exact point where life stopped working the way it used to, and helped them find their way back to it.
That work shaped everything she believes about people. She watched capable adults lose things they assumed they would always have, and she watched them rebuild anyway. It taught her that a person's worth is not held together by what they can currently do. It was there long before, and it holds after.
What you lost does not decide what you are worth.
The church
Intentional Church.
Today she serves as Executive Pastor of Intentional Church in Powder Springs, Georgia, alongside her husband, Lead Pastor Anthony Guidry. She leads the Intentional Women's Ministry, teaching on worth, forgiveness, and living whole in every season.
Her message is short enough to remember and hard enough to actually do.
The person
Warm, and she will still tell you the truth.
She is not a soft leader. She is direct, she notices what other people miss, and when she gives her word it holds. She will also stay in the room long after the hard conversation is over, which is the part people remember.
Regina and Anthony have been married twenty four years and have a son. She cooks, she bakes, she travels, she stays active, and she builds the kind of gatherings people talk about for months. She believes every person carries God given purpose and that every story matters.
